Ourika Valley: The High Atlas Breach
The experience
Leave the city behind at 09:00 for a deep dive into the Ourika Valley. We punch through the Houz Plains toward the western slopes of the High Atlas—a landscape of jagged peaks and lush terraced fields. The mission kicks off at a local Argan Cooperative, where you’ll see the grit behind the 'liquid gold' produced by local artisans. From there, we hit Tnin Ourika, a massive, high-energy Berber souk where the valley’s villagers converge to trade. It’s raw, loud, and 100% authentic. The final push takes us to Setti Fatma, the gateway to the peaks. Here, you choose your pace: execute a high-vertical trek with a local guide to conquer the legendary waterfalls, or hold the basecamp, refuel at a riverbank café, and soak in the sound of the High Atlas streams. This is where the locals come to breathe—now it’s your turn.
