The experience
We roll out at 08:00, heading north across the vast Tadla plains. This 3-hour trek takes you through endless olive groves and rugged Moroccan countryside, far from the standard tourist loops. Upon arrival, the mission is simple: The Descent. We navigate the winding trails down to the base of the falls. At 110 meters high, the sheer force of the water creates a permanent mist—and a constant rainbow—that dominates the canyon. Along the way, you’ll encounter the local 'sentinels'—wild Berber monkeys (macaques) that rule these cliffs. After reaching the base, you refuel at the riverbank cafes. Whether you’re there for the hike or the sheer scale of the falls, Ouzoud is an assault on the senses. We extract in the late afternoon for a high-speed return to the city.

How the day unfolds
08:00 - Extraction: Departure from your Riad. Heading north through the olive groves.
11:00 - Ground Zero: Arrival at Ouzoud. Begin the descent into the gorge.
12:30 - Monkey Encounter: Navigate the trails and meet the local macaque troops.
13:30 - Refuel: Lunch (optional) at the base of the falls by the stream.
15:30 - Withdrawal: Start the climb back up and begin the return leg to Marrakech.
18:30 - City Drop-off: Arrival back at your Riad. Mission complete.
